Residents at Sol at West Village sent in copies of their receipts of purchases made at any black owned business for a chance to win a $50 gift card to that business along with a matched donation from Sol at West Village. Our team was really excited to cultivate community involvement and celebrate our local black-owned businesses.
A big congrats and thank you to our resident, Sailey, for supporting Fixins, a black owned restaurant in Sacramento, CA. Other supported businesses included Juvia’s Place, Urban Roots, South, and Nash & Proper.
We look forward to continuing to support these businesses throughout the year, and will continue to encourage our residents to do so as well!
